Hur kan en socialt hållbar utveckling inom kommuner och regioner främjas med lån och obligationer | Case study: Kommuninvest

Sveriges kommuner och regioner står inför betydande utmaningar till följd av demografiska förändringar, ökad segregation och ett ökat antal socioekonomiskt utsatta områden. Genom att mobilisera kapital kan Kommuninvest bistå med att finansiera investeringar som kan bidra till ökad social hållbarhet i kommuner och regioner. Därför lanserar Kommuninvest Lån för Social Hållbarhet till sina medlemmar och kunder. Ambitionen är att kunna främja arbete med social hållbarhet i hela landet, via finansiering av investeringar och insatser som bedöms ha goda möjligheter att adressera identifierade lokala sociala utmaningar.

Under detta webinarium diskuterar vi hur de sociala utmaningarna i kommuner och regioner ser ut. Kommuninvest presenterar sin nya modell för Lån för Social Hållbarhet och Sociala Obligationer och finansmarknadens roll diskuteras. Trollhättans allmännyttiga bostadsbolag, AB Eidar, beskriver hur de konkret använder sig av Lån för Social Hållbarhet och vi diskuterar vikten av – och utmaningarna med – effektutvärdering.

This year makes it the sixth time The Unconference Space is held at the Social Innovation Summit. The Unconference Space is organized and facilitated by the Impact Hub Stockholm team. There is nothing traditional about this Unconference set up.  There are no keynote speakers or pre-set program to adhere to. The people who participate in the Unconference are the ones who will host and drive the conversations. This encourages collaboration, empowers new thinking, and connects people.

This specific Unconference Space session will focus on Pådriv (Front Runner) – Infrastructure for quicker and better sustainable development of cities.

Background: Small and large cities across the Nordics need to become more sustainable quickly. A sustainable development that is socially inclusive, environmentally friendly, and economically feasible. Research has shown us that we need to collaborate across sectors to succeed. In this session, we will share a new form of open source infrastructure that makes it easier for people and organizations to come together and create the change we need.

Background: According to the European Commission and several recent research reports Sweden lacks a functioning financial eco-system to support start-ups and development within the social economy sector. During this session, we explore how different actors can work together to strengthen the financial market for social enterprises in Sweden and the Nordics
