Nikos Kastrinos

Team Leader for Foresight in DG Research and Innovation @ European Commission

Nikos is currently Team Leader for Foresight in DG Research and Innovation in the European Commission, tasked to strengthen the role of the future in the R&I strategy of the European Union. He has been an adviser for Research and Innovation Policy for the Governments of Ireland, and Cyprus for their Presidencies of the Council of the European Union, and an Adviser for Research and Innovation to the Greek Minister of Education. He has worked in Research and Innovation Strategy, Technology Assessment and the Social Sciences and Humanities programme in the European Commission. Before joining the Commission he was a research fellow at the University of Manchester.
