Maja Frankel is the Secretary-General of Friends, a children’s rights organization striving to prevent bullying among children and youth. She was the Director of Ashoka Nordic from 2012-2019. Maja Frankel has a background in the field of human rights. First at UNICEF as the first Swedish youth ambassador and author of a book on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and later as the founder of two social businesses focusing on young people as a resource in policy making, encouraging social entrepreneurship and civic commitment.

Maja Frankel är generalsekreterare för stiftelsen Friends. Mellan 2012-2019 var hon Nordenchef för Ashoka, ett världsledande globalt nätverk för sociala entreprenörer, och dessförinnan grundade hon konsultbyrån Frankel & Friends. Maja Frankel har en bakgrund inom mänskliga rättigheter som ungdomsambassadör, vice ordförande och styrelseledamot i UNICEF Sverige. Hon är författare till boken Vår förbannade rätt (Atlas förlag), som handlar om barn och ungas rättigheter.
