Mats Olausson was appointed as Senior Advisor to the Climate & Sustainable Finance team at SEB in February 2014. His primary responsibilities include tailored advisory on green and social bonds, sustainability linked loans and bonds as well as other sustainable finance opportunities to issuers, investors and other stakeholders. Within the Climate & Sustainable Finance team, Mats has provided structural advice to over 50 green and social bond issuers within various sectors and regions.

Mats joined SEB in 1997 as Country Risk Analyst and from the year 2000, Mats was SEB’s Chief Strategist for Emerging Markets. Prior to joining SEB, he worked for UNDP in Bolivia and at SIDA.
